According to the bank’s representatives, the State Bank of India has published SBI CBO recruitment notification PDF 2021-22 on its official website. 1226 CBO positions have been made public as part of the SBI CBO recruiting 2021.

Becoming a Circle Based Officer (CBO) with the State Bank of India (SBI) is an enticing prospect for graduates seeking employment at public sector banks. 9th December 2021 onwards, interested and eligible candidates can complete the SBI CBO application form 2021-22. The deadline is 29th December 2021. The date of the SBI CBO exam 2021-22 has not been announced; however, it is anticipated to be held sometime in January 2022. This gives candidates adequate time to prepare for the exam before the organization announces the final date of the SBI CBO exam.

    Stages of SBI CBO

There are three stages to SBI’s CBO selection process, jotted below:

    • Objective Test held online
    • Descriptive Test
    • Final Interview

Candidates must pass both an online written exam and an interview to be considered for the position. Objective and descriptive exam scores, combined with the interview scores, will construct/constitute the final merit list.

Online Written Test and Interview results will be provided a weightage of 75:25 to create the ultimate merit list. Converted marks from the Written Test held online are used to determine the ultimate merit list (State & category-wise). State and category-specific merit lists will be used to determine which candidates will get a chance to secure the job. Furthermore, the bank has the right to alter the shortlisting of the parameters at any time and will inform the applicants of any changes.

Pattern of SBI CBO Examination 2021-22

An outline of the SBI CBO online objective examination is provided in BYJU’S Exam Prep. Candidates must study the current pattern of SBI CBO exam  to prepare for the examination. It will make candidates aware of its question formulation for each section and adequately inform them of the grading system along with time limits.

    Descriptive Test

The descriptive test has a 30-minute time limit. In total, there will be two questions for a total of 50 points on the English language test (letter writing & essay). On the basis of the aggregate marks in the online written test, a state- and category-specific merit list will be compiled. Sectional qualifying marks will not be used in this year’s competition. State-wise and category-wise openings will be filled up to three times (approximately) by candidates on the top of their merit list, provided they meet the minimum aggregate qualifying score set by the bank.

    Penalty for Wrong Answers

The objective test will not penalize students for incorrect answers. Also, there will be no sectional marks in the online written exam.

    SBI CBO Interview 2021-22

There will be a total of 50 marks available for the SBI CBO Interview. To be considered for final selection, candidates must achieve at least the minimum qualifying marks in the CBO interview. The bank’s officials will set the minimum qualifying marks or cut-off. In order to be eligible for the SBI CBO interview, candidates must produce an EWS certificate issued for the financial year 2020-21, according to DoPT standards, to prove their eligibility. You can easily achieve that while doing the SBI CBO course from BYJU’S Exam Prep. Non-EWS candidates who have registered for an interview but have not submitted an EWS certificate based on gross yearly income for the financial year 2020-21 according to DoPT requirements will not be accepted.
